Premium Only Plans (POP)
David Justice Financial Services, Inc. has formed a relationship with FlexBen Corporation to offer premium only plans (POP) to our clients. A POP allows employees to elect to pay their share of company-sponsored group insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars. Employee premium contributions are deducted from their pay before taxes are computed. These contributions are exempt from federal income and Social Security (FICA) taxes as well as state and local taxes, depending on where the employee lives. The amounts employees have deducted are not taxed and are excluded from taxable wages on their annual W-2 statement of earning.
